Insulated glass is made of three pieces of glass(or twe pieces of glass),  High-strength and high air tightness composite adhesive is used to bond the glass sheet with an aluminum alloy frame containing a desiccant.

Insulating glass improves the safety performance of glass windows. When the original float glass with the same thickness is used, the wind pressure resistance strength of the hollow glass is 1.5 times that of the ordinary single glass.

Methods for determining the advantages and disadvantages of insulated glass:

“Insulating glass” is not “empty”. Qualified insulating glass interlayer must be filled with inert gas argon or krypton. The test after filling shows that the K value (the limit value of heat transfer coefficient) can be reduced by 30%, which means that the thermal insulation performance is better. If the insulating glass sandwich you buy is really “empty”, it undoubtedly shows that its thermal insulation or thermal insulation and cold insulation performance is only double-layer glass at best, and the efficiency of thermal insulation and energy saving is definitely very low. Scientific tests have proved that qualified insulating glass can reduce the heat transfer coefficient K limit of ordinary window glass from 3.5 to 2.8, and the reduction of heat transfer performance can prevent indoor heat loss. Most of the fake insulating glass on the market are simply fixed together with two pieces of glass, with poor thermal insulation performance.
