At present, the main methods for preventing glass mold at the cold end include the paper clip method, the anti-mold powder method, and the anti-mold liquid method.

The sandwich paper can absorb water and prevent the formation of a large-area water film on the glass surface, thereby effectively preventing the glass surface from getting moldy. The protective effect of the paper increases with the increase in the mass per unit area of ​​the paper. The paper-clip method has a certain anti-mildew effect, but the effective anti-mildew period is short, and the acid anti-mildew paper will produce “paper grain” on the glass, which is not easy to clean. The paper can be manually clamped in the box, or the paper can be laid by the paper laying machine after cutting and breaking.

Anti-mildew powder method spraying anti-mildew isolation powder on the glass surface is a cost-effective and simple surface protection measure, which is widely used. Static electricity is applied to the powder before spraying, so that the powder is evenly distributed and firmly adsorbed on the surface of the glass plate.

Anti-mold liquid method This method utilizes the suppressing effect of divalent ions, and at the same time, not only does water vapor not easily condense on the glass surface, but also forms a firm waterproof layer on the glass surface and does not exist “paper grain”. There are two application methods: one is to spray the anti-mildew liquid on the upper surface of the glass in the form of a mist; the other is to apply the anti-mildew liquid to the glass surface with a coating roller covered with soft rubber. The applied anti-mold liquid can be dried naturally.

The blowing cleaning device is generally equipped with a blowing cleaning device to blow the glass surface after the post-breaking process. Air-cushion conveying is in a state of air floating during glass conveying, and there is no relative mechanical movement with conveying equipment, thus avoiding mechanical abrasion of glass surface.
